Eidos Opens Australian Office

Erik Ford has been appointed as managing director of Eidos Interactive Pty Ltd, Ford previously held the same position at Eidos Singapore (Eidos Interactive Pte Ltd). After five successful years, Eidos’ Singapore office is being taken over and managed by Atari Asia Pacific Pty Ltd from August 2003. As part of the deal, Atari will be handling distribution rights to Eidos products in Singapore, Hong Kong and South East Asia. Atari Australia Pty Ltd will continue to manage the sales representation for Eidos in Australia and New Zealand.

Jonathan Kemp, Eidos’ European managing director says:
“Australia, New Zealand and Asia Pacific are significant territories for Eidos and the setting up of this new office will enable us to work even closer with our distribution partners.”

Gerard Noonan, managing director of Atari Asia Pacific comments:
