A member of MENSA with IQ of 154, Carol Vorderman is one of Britain's best known and loved TV personalities.
Carol was awarded an MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) for Services to Broadcasting in the Queens Birthday Honors List.
On her TV show "Countdown", Carol gained notoriety by rapidly calculating complicated mathematical problems. There are 255 episodes of Countdown recorded each year, currently entering their 20th year of the program. Her continued success on the show saw her become one of the highest-paid women in Britain, being paid 3 million Pounds per year.
With the success of the show, Carol has since gone on to present over 5 different television programs. Carol has also established a highly successful writing career, contributing columns to "The Daily Telegraph" and the "Daily Mirror".
Carol has established herself as TV's most popular science and technology presenters. She has written numerous Sudoku puzzle books which sold millions worldwide in less than one year.
